New York Van provides private van transportation, airport transportation, corporate transportation, group transportation, charter services, hourly transportation, and other chauffeured ground transportation services.
Depending on the type of service requested, New York Van may provide transportation using vehicles operated directly by New York Van or through qualified transportation partners, affiliates, subcontractors, or independent transportation operators.
When a transportation partner is used to fulfill a reservation, New York Van may provide the partner with the information reasonably necessary to complete the requested service.
We work to provide safe, professional, and dependable transportation. Vehicle availability, vehicle type, and chauffeur assignment may vary depending on the date, location, passenger count, service requirements, and availability.
2. Customer Information and Communication
When you request a quote, make a reservation, contact us, or use our website, we may collect information such as:

The payment method provided by the customer may be charged for the applicable transportation service and any authorized additional charges.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, gratuity or tip is not included in the transportation rate. Any gratuity provided to a chauffeur is at the customer's discretion.
Depending on the service, additional charges may apply for items such as:
Additional stops
Excessive waiting time
Parking
Tolls
Airport fees
Airport pickup or meet-and-greet services
Additional vehicle requirements
Additional service time
Special requests
Cleaning or damage charges
Applicable taxes or government fees
Other charges disclosed to the customer or reasonably incurred in providing the service
Any additional charges will be communicated to the customer when reasonably possible and may be charged to the payment method on file.
Quoted and published rates are subject to availability and may change before a reservation is confirmed. The rate confirmed for a specific reservation will generally be based on the written quote or reservation confirmation provided to the customer, subject to applicable additional charges and changes requested by the customer.
9. Hourly Charter and Event Services
Hourly transportation and event services are billed according to the hourly or package rate confirmed at the time of reservation.
Unless otherwise stated in the reservation confirmation, additional time beyond the originally reserved service period may be billed at the applicable hourly rate or applicable overtime rate.
Partial additional hours may be subject to the minimum billing increment stated in the reservation or quote.
Customers are responsible for charges resulting from additional service time requested by the customer or caused by circumstances attributable to the customer's party.
10. Reservation Changes and Cancellations
Cancellation and change policies may vary depending on the type of vehicle, service, date, reservation size, special event, and other circumstances.
Unless a different cancellation policy is specifically stated in the customer's reservation confirmation, the following general policies apply:
Airport Transfers and Point-to-Point Transportation
Cancellations or reservation changes made within 96 hours of the scheduled pickup time may be subject to the full reservation charge.
Hourly Charter and Event Services
Cancellations or reservation changes made within hours of the scheduled pickup time may be subject to the full reservation charge.
Larger Vehicles, Specialty Vehicles, and Certain Event Reservations
Cancellations or reservation changes for specialty vehicles, larger group vehicles, motor coaches, minibuses, or certain event reservations may require more advance notice.
The applicable cancellation deadline will be stated in the customer's reservation confirmation when different from the general policy above.
Certain holiday periods, major events, large group reservations, multi-vehicle reservations, and specialty transportation services may have separate cancellation policies.
The cancellation policy provided with the customer's reservation will control when it differs from this general policy.
11. No-Show Policy
A No-Show occurs when a passenger does not arrive at the designated pickup location within the applicable waiting period and does not successfully contact New York Van or the assigned chauffeur.
For airport pickups, passengers should provide accurate flight information when available and should contact New York Van if their flight is delayed or their travel plans change.
A No-Show may result in a charge of up to the full reservation amount, plus applicable waiting time, service charges, parking, or other charges reasonably incurred in connection with the reservation.

12. Airport Pickups and Flight Delays
Customers are responsible for providing accurate flight information when requesting airport transportation.
When flight information is provided, New York Van may use that information to monitor the scheduled flight and coordinate pickup when reasonably possible.
Flight delays, cancellations, diversions, baggage delays, customs delays, and other airline-related circumstances may affect the timing of transportation.
Customers should contact New York Van if their flight information changes or if they experience a significant delay.
Any included airport waiting period and applicable additional waiting charges will be based on the reservation terms provided to the customer.
13. Passenger Conduct
For the safety and comfort of all passengers and chauffeurs, customers and members of their party must behave in a safe and reasonable manner.
The following are prohibited in New York Van vehicles:
Smoking or vaping where prohibited
Illegal drugs or illegal substances
Dangerous or unlawful behavior
Intentional damage to the vehicle
Abusive, threatening, or violent conduct
Behavior that creates an unsafe environment for passengers or the chauffeur
Alcohol may be restricted or prohibited depending on the vehicle, service, applicable law, and circumstances.
The chauffeur may terminate a trip when a passenger or member of the passenger's party engages in dangerous, abusive, unlawful, or seriously disruptive conduct.
Depending on the circumstances, the customer may remain responsible for the full reservation charge and any additional charges or damages resulting from the conduct.
14. Vehicle Damage and Excessive Cleaning
Customers are responsible for damage to the vehicle caused by themselves or members of their party, whether intentional or accidental, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Customers may also be responsible for reasonable cleaning charges when a vehicle requires cleaning beyond normal use.
Examples may include excessive spills, bodily fluids, food-related damage, smoking-related cleaning, or other unusual cleaning requirements.
Any such charge will be based on the reasonable cost incurred to restore the vehicle to an appropriate condition.
15. Lost Property
Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings and luggage.
New York Van will make reasonable efforts to locate and return items left in a vehicle when such items are found and identified.
However, New York Van is not responsible for personal belongings, luggage, electronic devices, documents, valuables, or other property left unattended or left inside a vehicle, except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded.
Passengers should check the vehicle carefully before exiting.
16. Delays and Circumstances Beyond Our Control
New York Van will make reasonable efforts to provide transportation according to the confirmed reservation.
However, transportation services may be affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
Severe weather
Traffic
Road closures
Accidents
Construction
Vehicle breakdowns
Mechanical problems
Airport conditions
Flight disruptions
Government actions
Emergencies
Public events
Natural disasters
Unforeseen transportation conditions
When such circumstances occur, New York Van will make reasonable efforts to assist the customer and arrange an appropriate alternative when reasonably available.
New York Van is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
17. Vehicle Substitution
New York Van reserves the right to substitute a comparable or upgraded vehicle when the originally requested vehicle becomes unavailable because of mechanical issues, scheduling conflicts, safety concerns, maintenance, or other operational circumstances.
When reasonably possible, New York Van will attempt to provide a vehicle appropriate for the passenger count and service requirements stated in the reservation.
18. Safety and Regulatory Compliance
New York Van intends to operate its transportation services in compliance with applicable federal, New York State, and local laws and regulations.
Transportation vehicles and chauffeurs may be subject to applicable licensing, registration, insurance, inspection, safety, and operating requirements.
New York State requires for-hire passenger transportation vehicles to maintain applicable for-hire insurance requirements, and certain passenger vehicles may also be subject to NYSDOT operating authority and inspection requirements depending on the vehicle and service.
Where applicable, customers may be provided with safety information before transportation begins. Certain altered or stretch limousine operations are subject to additional New York safety requirements, including passenger safety briefings.
19. Privacy Policy
New York Van respects your privacy.
We collect and use personal information primarily to provide transportation services, respond to inquiries, process reservations and payments, communicate with customers, improve our services, and operate our business.
We do not sell or rent customer personal information.
We may share information with trusted transportation providers, chauffeurs, technology providers, payment processors, customer-service providers, and other business partners when reasonably necessary to provide our services.
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, court order, government request, or law enforcement.
